Welcome to the Chilvers lab

We study diseases of field crops, including the biology and genetics of fungal and oomycete organisms and their host-pathogen interactions. We utilize approaches including classic culturing techniques, field studies, controlled environments, high-throughput phenotyping, and omics approaches to improve disease management by understanding the organisms, factors and host-pathogen interactions that drive disease.
